Call for Nominations

Dear Community Activist,

Once again, we are approaching the March celebration of Women's History. The Broward County Women's History Coalition will be inducting several new members into the Broward County Women's Hall of Fame. Will your exceptional woman employee, volunteer, or colleague going to be recognized?

Nominations are now being accepted and women will be inducted into the Hall of Fame upon the recommendation and application of their friends, co-workers, employers, and employees. Without your input, a deserving woman might never be recognized.

Nominate a woman in your work environment, volunteer organization, or neighborhood who deserves to be recognized permanently in the Broward County Women's Hall of Fame. We all are in awe of those who go above and beyond the call of duty. Induction into the Broward County Women's Hall of Fame is a community-wide endorsement of the inductee's personal efforts to support, enhance, and celebrate women.

Time is getting short. Please submit an application for a woman who YOU believe is deserving of this honor. Our induction ceremonies will be held on March 22, 2009, at the Seminole Okalee Village, located at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino's Seminole Paradise. Tickets, which include lunch followed by the ceremony are $15.
